I stupidly tossed the bass strings of my stringmasters third neck and never restrung it. I'm currently using C6 on the 1st and A6 on the second. I need suggestion for a third tuning and string type for the bass neck. Thanks.

Do you want a bass tuning? Doesn't look like you're into the 13th tunings... I have my bass neck in Bb6... scroll down here and you'll find my post:

... works great for boogie-woogie walking bass lines... and C is two frets up, a perfect box on the second fret. Also included is my 'how-to' for working the ball end out of a normal bass string and substituting a regular guitar ball end... they won't fit otherwise!

Thanks Stephen. I don't really know if I want a bass tuning or not but that's what I was leaning towards. There where bass string on it originally but I took them off before trying anything out. I'll give your tuning a shot and see how I like it. Thank for the suggestion and tutorial on changing the strings.
