Tom,
Gabby recorded this single with the group called, the Sunday Manoa.
The album is called "Cracked Seed".
Sadly, they featured him for only one song on that album. |

Derrick - Jerry Byrd plays it on the CD that has him and Hui Ohana, not together, but on alternating cuts. _________________ Jack Aldrich

Aloha Derrick, Gabby is also listed as playing the steel guitar on "Beautiful Kahana". |

Aloha Norm,
Oops, forget about that one.
Just doing fills on that one though, too bad.
Wish they should have gave him a solo in between the singing verses.
J.A. , think you are referring to the album where Jerry is playing with Benny Kalama, Atta & Norman Isaacs. Album is called "Steel Guitar Hawaiian Style". |

The album Jack is referring to is "Hawaiian Style Guitars" (Lehua Records). It featured cuts by Hui Ohana and Jerry Byrd (tracks taken from his "Steel Guitar Hawaiian Style" album).
