Looks like Strymon has done it again:

If this box is better than the 'Blue Sky' reverb by Strymon, that I use, it will indeed be an incredible box!!!

The demo sounds good, however. with 12 reverb settings,3 foot switches and 8 knobs to fiddle with I wouldn't call it simple to set up. I have had similar effects with multi settings and eventually only use one or two.Quite a high price for the gigging steel player too.
Personally I prefer the simplicity of a two knob unit like the Wet reverb.Or the Benado Steel dream
Best regards
Billy

Yeah Billy, for gigging I've got a Wet ( actually two- stereo and mono).
The Strynon would be for the studio... and for fun.
Their stuff is top notch. You get what you pay for.

I also use the Strymon 'Blue Sky' reverb pedal (as well as their 'Brigadier' delay)and in my opinion this pedal is in a class by itself. Having owned almost every reverb pedal being manufactured (with the exception of the 'Wet Reverb' which from what I understand, is an excellent unit as well), to my ears nothing else compares.

Bought the Strymon Blue Sky a few weeks ago, and its the only stomp box I use now. I have only used it mono, and will try it stereo soon.

I might go as far to say that the Big Sky is the best effects unit that I've ever purchased. The modulation is very usable and quite adjustable. The rooms and halls sound INCREDIBLE... huge in stereo. I really dig the tone knob for coloring the verbs darker or brighter. Worth every penny, IMO.

At $479 for a pedal you have to forget the price to have fun with it
