I just watched Crossroads featuring Vince Gill and Sting on the CMT channel. Paul was only given one solo ( ascending all the way up the neck ). They did a close up of him during the solo, and his guitar was shaking and vibrating like there was an earthquake going on. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ????? ha ha. My little Maverick never shakes like that.
AND…. Vince surely knows his way around a rock guitar solo _________________ Maverick

My Carter D10 shakes a lot too. But that's because it is trying to get away from me. Actually it doesn't shake too much, but a little when I use knee levers. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . It's called "Reverse vibrato". You hold the bar still and wiggle the instrument back and forth! ![Laughing](images/smiles/icon_lol.gif) |

When Jerry Byrd played a console steel on legs it would shake enormously. I've always thought that it must contribute to the tone. |
