I just watched Crossroads featuring Vince Gill and Sting on the CMT channel. Paul was only given one solo ( ascending all the way up the neck ). They did a close up of him during the solo, and his guitar was shaking and vibrating like there was an earthquake going on. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ????? ha ha. My little Maverick never shakes like that.
AND…. Vince surely knows his way around a rock guitar solo

My Carter D10 shakes a lot too. But that's because it is trying to get away from me.  Actually it doesn't shake too much, but a little when I use knee levers.

| It's called "Reverse vibrato". You hold the bar still and wiggle the instrument back and forth! |

Ya know I bet someone ( maybe you ) has tried reverse vibrato.
( and now someone IS gonna try )
