Since I seem to have only one good PU from the pair,would I wire it like a Precision bass is wired?

A Precision bass has two pickups.

Wire it like a Musicmaster... I'm sure Google can help here.

My 1955 Precision bass has only one pickup. Whoa!

Hey, no fair with the oldies! I call those Telecaster basses anyway... 'cause that's what they look like. Same one Dusty Hill plays, IIRC.
