...nice to see that a "rock" guy gets this album and gets hip to the steel in the process. Way to go Mikey.

Thanks for posting that for the forum, Al. "Hittin the Note" is a publication focusing on the southern rock music scene. I was fortunate enough to be in the issue that features Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule, The Tedeschi/Trucks Band as well as Robert R. And as an added bonus, my review ended up on the same page as David Bowie's new record. How fun is that.

A fitting tribute and recognition to a great musician, a great "album" (if I can still refer to it as such), and an all around nice guy. Mike is a rare talent and human being. Looking forward to more from Mike in the near future.

Rock Of Ages is tops, and equally excellent is Mike's new Christmas album, "Peace On Earth". So much so that upon hearing it, we immediately included several selections in our on-air Christmas library. Thank you for the great music Mike.

Here is a direct link to our live stream, where you'll hear many steel guitar Christmas tunes, including several by Mike Daly.

I'll have to throw in my "me too's"

I especially enjoyed Mike's treatment of the Jeff Beck tune "Freeway Jam". I've played that song with a local guitarist several times and Mike's approach worked well -- especially the harmonies. GREAT FUN!

Mike Daly is a world class musician who may not get his share of the accolades. He's been around the block, paid his dues, and got the t-shirt.

Since I play in bands that feature much more rock and blues tunes than country, I especially appreciate Mike's epic work on this CD.

Thanks Mike -- you ROCK!
(seriously)
Smile
