The Jay Dee Maness interview on Flo Guitar Enthusiasts radio Show has been archived here: http://www.floguitarenthusiasts.com/shows/Flo-120213.mp3
It was a really good interview done by folks really interested in the instrument. Jay Dee plays some and duplicates his Tears In Heaven solo and comping. Really a pleasure to hear him talk. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

Nice find Mike! Thanks for turning us on to the interview.
Maybe I missed this part, had to do a little bit of jumping around because I couldn't listen to the whole thing right now but got the majority of it in - or it just wasn't mentioned - is there an approximate date when we can expect JayDee's CD to be available?
Skip or JayDee if your'e reading this perhaps you can enlighten us. _________________ Mark |

Thank you to Mike and to JayDee! It's amazing how the masters make it sound so simple. I guess that's how you get sucked into it, right? |

Nice, easy-going interview. I really liked it. And the interviewer actually knew something about pedal steel. |

I had a chance to talk to JD a year or so back at Jim Palenscar's Place in Oceanside and take a picture with him. I told him to pretend that we have known each other a long time and he said (we have, haven't we). That shows what a great personal person he is.I put the picture on my web site.RS _________________ Franklin D10 Stereo - 8 and 6 - Black Box-Zum Encore 4 and 5 Nashville 400,Session 400, DD3 for delay ,also Benado Effects pedal.
