Like Richard, Laughing Laughing Laughing Give that man a rimshot! Now that's real experience talking! Laughing I needed a good laugh today.

Didn't Jerry employ a MacIntosh stereo power amp in his rig at some point?

When they went to the "wall of sound", there were several McIntosh power amps.

There's some directly behind him.

Ya gotta love that speaker cabinet on the bottom with no speakers in it.

Another shot
Whoa!

Here's a site that has fairly in depth info on Jerry's guitars and electronics over the years.

Gary... That is a great site. Looks like he/they were using the McIntosh stuff prior to the Wall of Sound. I just never noticed them before "The Wall". Of course, there's a lot I don't remember from those days.

Dave Grafe might have had the correct answer with a Leslie... They used a Leslie in the studio on quite a few things on the early records, including Jerry's voice.

Listen to Dirty Business on the first NRPS album. Leslie for sure. I haven't listened to it for a while but Sugar Magnolia may be Leslie and wah.

Speaking of which, I heard a live version from the closing og the Fillmore East with Duane Allman sitting in. Jerry did fills with a wah pedal, but gave Duane the lion's share of the solos.
