Back when I did session work, I used a ZB s-10, a ZB D-10 and a Kline D-10. Why? Because they sound so darn good, plus they were what I was using at the time.

Emmons p/p's! When I was playing full time, I did a lot of recording in the late 70's through the 80's on the Emmons p/p's. Always clean and sweet.

Have used my RusLer S-11, because it never let me down. Just got a ZumSteel S-12, and can't wait to hear what it does in the studio.

Most of the time I use one of Tom Brumley's old ZB 11-stringers. Stays in tune, plays great and great tone.

Just a novice with 4 studio dates under the belt, but my 2000 Mullen SD10 seems to get all the sounds I (and the engineers) need... Thanks, Del & Co.!
