Roundfront LDG. 3X4 Teardrop levers, Gumby Headstock.
Rear apron (only) has some fading. Body and hardware are all very sound. Finish has typical checking. Legs are pitted but clean up okay and work well.
New fretboard is on the way, and will be correctly installed. Sho~Bud set up. Case is rough but useable and badly mildewed..no leg pouch...too mildewed, had to toss it.
Selling for a friend..NOT one of my shop guitars, does not have my shop warranty.
I cleaned it up (was very mildewed and dirty)and rough polished the metal, re-set the changer and pull train which were very out of whack. Performed delayed maintenance procedures. New nickel Strings. It works as per design spec now.
Local sale only for a while...It's a good guitar at a bargain price but should be seen and played as it's not perfect like my shop guitars. Worthy of a full restoration if one is inclined.
Price is $1295.00 sold as is.

Just googled how far it is to CT from Nashville... and needless to say, I'm disappointed. That's a smoking deal there. _________________ Franklins, Zums, Emmonseses, Webbs |

There has been a lot of interest. Thank you all. I posted new detail pics showing the checking and fading and bar rash, honest shots. Photos do not show the new repro fretboard as its in transit from Jeff Surrattt. The first to show up in Wilton with cash gets it. A Canadian buyer says he wants to drive down next week. If it does not sell before he starts his drive, I will suspend sale while he is on the road. In the end if it does not sell locally (Cash and pickup), I will honor commitments to buy and ship, in the order received. _________________ Steel Guitar Services:

Dear Jeff Metz,
I responded to your post privately. Please advise if your post saying you'd come to CT is legit or not, as it's not fair to honest and sincere people who are in line behind you if you are just blowing smoke.. Yes or no will do. _________________ Steel Guitar Services:

I used to own two of these...
Serial # 4694 = Model 6150 built 12/22/73 by D.M.
Serial # 5025 = Model 6150 built 2/15/74 by D.M.
John can probably guesstimate a date from this
I still have the older one. There were only 200 of these LDGs with, round front, barrels behind two hole pullers made, and they don't show up for sale very often. These are really great, classic guitars.
And this one is, IMHO, going for way less than it is worth. Grab it!
