Beautiful version of a great song. Great country songs always have a bit of gospel flavor to them. Nice job James. _________________ "Shoot low boys, the're ridin' Shetlands" |

Absolutely cracking presentation James, being a fellow 'image' and lap steel lover, especially the national dynamic range, I found a lot of joy in your video, nice 'old school' vibrato and style. Looks like you'll be having a productive xmas, many thanks. BTW James, I'v been stunped with off the shelf 7 string pickups, how did you mange it ? |

Thank you Kevin for your very kind words. I found this pickup on Fleabay for little money, underneath the fancy cover (made by me) is a regular 7 pole Humbucker a more expensive route would be the Lace Pickup ---

And the least expensive, but just as capable route is any Bass Guitar pickup which are wider and will cover 8 strings easily'
James . Thanking all for their comments. |
