Looks like one of the Rickenbacker Console models from back in the 50's. I used to have one but a different color. _________________ Carter D12, MSA S12, 12 String Custom Made Non-Pedal, Evans FET 500LV, Evans SE200, Peavey Nashville 400, Fender Steel King |

I'd be tempted to say that it IS the Bigsby, just with a front panel like he later also used on his Fender.
His Bigsby HAD a metal plate in the front center saying something like "built for Speedy West"... although it was long argued that Speedy's Bigsby was #1 it turns out that there may have been one or two before his... ALL without the Bigsby logo.

I say it humorously, but I mean it. |

I pulled up another Speedy West video that has a better shot of the guitar and it is a Bigsby. |

After some net surfing and viewing other and better pics, I have to agree with you guys that Speedy is indeed playing his Bigsby in this clip. It must be the different front apron that threw me. The first time I remember ever seeing that apron was in this video of Travis doing "Sweet Temptation." I love what can be found on You Tube. Classic stuff. |
