Asking $3500.

I hate to do this, but the bills keep coming in and I'm not working. Yes, the BIN is unduly high compared to the opening bid price, but that is the minimum amount ebay would allow me to enter based on the opening bid price. SGF members will be given special consideration, but I don't really want to lower my opening bid, which I think is a fair price considering the instruments rarity and condition. This is a wonderful guitar

That's most definitely a fair price for someone who wants a Fry Pan - not for someone who wants to flip it. I paid $3,200 for mine several years ago and have zero regrets.

Thanks bOb, I have made contributions to the forum after other sales, and am ready to do so again if a fellow forumite buys this one. Mr. Green

Much better to let others know about it here, where it can be appreciated, than to just list, and re-list, and re-list again over on ebay, with no one paying much attention. Muttering

The Forum is well worth my support! And everyone else's TOO! Very Happy

I'll be bringing the Fry Pan to the AMP SHOW here in Van Nuys tomorrow. If I'm not at the front ticket desk or shooting video, I'll probably be in the Quilter room on the 3rd floor.

Well, the auction ended with no bids, was relisted and again has closed without a bid. I'll be bringing the Rickenbacher with me to the Guitarlington Texas guitar show (Look for us at the Frankie Hollywood booth in the carpeted room). Even if it does not sell, lots of people have been fascinated seeing it. Many people have never seen a frying pan before.

Hope you can make a deal. There's nothing like the tone of a frypan !

Thank you Bill. I relisted on ebay (again) and lowered the price by a hundred dollars to $3,400. There may be a deal in the works but I don't want to taint anything, so I'll keep mum until the auction closes. Thanks everyone for your interest!

Sold this morning on ebay. The buyer is not a forum member, but I'll be making a donation anyway. Thanks to all who expressed an interest. I miss her already.
