does anyone knows if there is any courses writen for the E9 extended and C6 chromatic.I have D-12 Emmons and more I play it more I love it.It sounds amazing and I would like to learn more about D-12 tuning.Thanks.

There isn't any instructional material specifically for D-12's that I know of, but they're really just extensions of the regular tunings.
I raise and lower my 11th string just like my 6th string, but only raise the 12th string to F. By not lowering it you get some nice major 7th stuff and the 12th string acts just like the low F string on C6.
Try substituting the 11th string for the 3rd or 6th. Instead of playing licks on 5 and 6, try 5 and 11. Instead of 3, 5, and 8, try 5, 8, and 11. All the same horizontal scale moves apply.
Try some guitar licks. You can play the whole intro to "Pretty Woman" with no pedals or knee levers.  At the 5th fret you can play the "Workin' Man Blues" vamp on 6, 9, and 12. 
I'm not sure how "standard" the C6 chromatic is. My first five strings are F-D-G-E-C. There's a nice diatonic lick by playing 5-2-4-1-3, which is the same as the A&F position on E9, but mostly I just like having both the D and G up there to choose from.

Damir: In the other thread on your D-12, I thought you might grow to love it !! Just work with it....it's fun finding the new things in there.
Jim, in line with your thinking, I used to use a Tube-Fex Tremelo modified with a pitch shifter for emphasis. I got the old Duane Eddy tune Rebel Rouser on the low strings with no pedals. It is, as you say, just an extention of E9th but a really good one.
I tried to find out what the strings were in front of Damir's 12 string C6th but never really found out. I like your thinking on the G-D situation and 12 strings provides a nice solution to that question.

Thanks Paul and Jim,I can use all the help I can get.So far I use bottom strings on E9 for some rhythm licks and it works pretty good.Hopefuly I with the time I will put them to work much more...
