Looking to trade my 2010 Martin D18GE Sunburst for a pedal steel guitar. I'd like a SD-10 with 3 and 5. If you don't have this set-up, just let me know what you have to trade. Prefer to trade in person so that each one of us can see what we are trading for. The selling price is $2,325.00 if I can't do a trade. The Martin doesn't have a mark or scratch on it. I'd say it's in a 9.5 condition out of a 10.

Am I asking too much for this Martin?

Dear Gary:
I tried to sell a new D-18 shortscale regular D-18( I adjusted to the standard scale on my Golden Era.) last July. I received no offers after I decided to sell it mostly because I believe it is a very soft market out there. Your price is a good one however a lot of people want to play the guitars before the sale. It does bring to mind my doubleneck Emmons Le Grande sitting in its case for the past ten years.

Your price is just right if you ask me. These go new at discounted price for about $3400. You might have to be patient, however. I work in a guitar shop and high end guitars are kinda slow sellers these days.
But that is one great guitar. I'd buy one, except I work in a guitar shop, which is about as profitable as playing pedal steel guitar. lol.

You might list it on the Acoustic Guitar Forum classifieds also as there are lots of nice Martins, etc. there. Just a thought - that's a nice guitar btw.Not knocking this forum which is great but may need to expand the audience.
