Is there still a Rains Steel Guitar Co.? I tried to find a website with no luck.

Yes Bryant there is a Rains Guitar. No web site but to great builders.

Curtis Hogue is building the SD10's and Gary Carpenter is the D10 Guru.

I've spoken with both within the last two weeks for some trouble shooting info. They are both gentlemen in every sense of the word and will talk with you and answer honestly your inquires.

Rains are great guitars....if the wife says yes maybe a third one coming to WV Razz

Rains guitars are much in business. I just visited with Curtis last evening. Curtis Hogue works a full time job, plays out and builds guitars so he is busy. Great guitars built by a great guy.

I've only played one Rains guitar. It sounded great, and the mechanics were smooth and precise.
