I'm making the leap to a D8 console so I'm selling this 8-string lap steel.

It's a second due to finish issues. As best I can tell it's due to some yellow pigment showing up in the blue or maybe it's the sloppy fret painting way up the neck. Either way it doesn't affect the instrument's playability or sound.

A known issue with these is that the pickup doesn't fully cover the 1st and 8th strings as well as the other strings. It's not horrible, but there's not quite as much output. The string spacings feel a little tighter to me as well. But it's served me well as a starter 8-string.

Full disclosure - someone knocked a beer over it when it was on a stand at a gig this summer. I quickly cleaned it up and hit it shortly thereafter with a damp rag and some mild dish soap. It hasn't affected the electronics but neither has it infused more soul in my playing. Your results may vary. Smile

Looks like these factory seconds are going for $299 online and ebay. So how about $175 delivered.
