A while back, I bumped something into the LKL and it chipped the corner off of the flat comfort piece that is mounted to the leg. I have it wrapped with paper towel and tape right now because the sharp edge was cutting into my leg. Does anyone know if Mr Franklin is still building guitars or maybe has some surplus parts. I know he is getting up there in age. I sure hope he passes his guitar building skills to his sons or maybe grandsons. I would like to see the Franklins continue.

Here's a not so good picture of the guitar. When I get back home, I will take a close up of the part.

when I spoke to him a few months ago, he was definitely still in business. He does more by telephone then email, recommend giving him a call.

Hi Ben,
when I talked with him a few weeks ago he told me that he stopped building steels.
He may still have some parts tho.
The best is to give him a call to find out.

Cheers,
Manfred
