You know, I hear the music, I see the tab, all my pedals work, but my fingers can't seem to do the walkin'. I fear that my hands may not be as "in-love with the waitress" as my ears are... Awsome steel part though. I'll keep tryin'.

Ues a metronome.
Learn it percise, as slow as needed, until you can play it effortlessly at that speed.
Then increase the metronome setting a few BPM.
Repeat as needed.
Some songs/licks are so fast the mind can't keep up, but your muscle memory can.

Excellent advice Joey. Using a metronome increases self dicipline and builds confidence. If you can't play it slow in time, you won't be playing it fast. |

Congrats! The second solo is a lot easier, especially if you have a C6 neck.
I once worked it out on E9. It can be done but the grips get strange.

Hi Guys,
I'm glad this subject was brought up once and again, as I'm facing having to learn it for my band.
Searching the Forum archives, I keep seeing references to a Paul Franklin instruction course for this song, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere ! Does anybody know if it's still available ?
I know I can get the TAB for the E9 solo from the Rebel and Ricky-site (Thanks Bengt Erlandsen, great job !) but not for the C6 solo.

That tab is out there. I think Iv'e got that one. I just don't know where I saw it. I'll look and get back to you.
Sorry, I have the same tab. Just an alternate nding I gues for a different pedal setup.
Thanks,
