Have any of you undertaken adding knee levers to the Sho-Bud D10 with the shift lever to switch the pedals from one neck to the other ? Since it has a unique under-carriage and pulling system I could envision encountering some unforeseen problems with the task. For those of you that have already completed the challenge would you share any things you gleaned from the experience? Are those particular parts available / If so what is the source? Any precautions I should be aware of? I have done work on other all pull systems but this particular configuration will be my first shot. I'm not intimidated by the task but just want to be cautious so I'm seeking advise from your experience. Thanks, you guys always come through. The Forum is a great resource.

Before Curly Chalker switched to MSA around 72/73, he had been playing at least two or maybe three Crossovers with seven pedals and five knees. I remember seeing one traded back in at the ShoBud store on Broadway in 1973. At least three of the knees worked both necks and maybe all five.

i would think it fairly simple as long as your newly added knee levers have their own separate crossrod/pulling train that doesn't interfere with the existing crossover system.
