I recently decided to rebuild an old Ernie Ball Volume Control,I use another one all the time, as I prefer the string operation to electronics. I contacted the company to the availability of a part I was missing. They responded quickly and said this part was not sold separately, but because I was loyal to the brand, they would send me the part FREE, including shipping. All they needed was my address. I received the package yesterday in the mail and they even sent some parts I did not request. Talk about customer service, WOW!! I asked their permission to post this, they did not ask for it. Great going Ernie Ball Company!!!!

Awesome Ray. That's pretty cool to hear that Ernie Ball's sons are carrying on his legacy with that kind of value placed on their customers. How's your pedal sounding, BTW?

Not quite finished yet. I have two other ones that I use regularly. And they work great. I put the Tom Bradshaw pot in them and what comes out of the Steel, goes to the Amp. I prefer these to the Electronics that I played for a couple of years.

I hear you, I actually like the Fender pot pedal I use. I've used a couple others, one was a good optics, but it didn't have the throw pedal steel likes,a nd the other one was almost too clean. I like the bit of bite I get at the end of pot pedals. If this one ever goes out, I'll likely try an Ernie Ball, or even an old Emmons.

Yeah, I certainly agree!! I have an Emmons pedal to go with my LIII, but generally wind up with the Ernie. I just got used to the feel of the Ernie's and therefore use one most of the time.
