Its my ad...
.. Trying to sell locally as I don't want to ship it, but figured someone here may be interested.... Its listed in the Ithaca NY Craigslist..The following is a copy of the CL posting-
Very rare single 10 string Fender 800 pedal steel guitar.
This steel is 100% ready to go and play anywhere.. It plays soft and smooth, with NO issues.. meticulously maintained.. All original parts intact... It has 5 pedals and 4 knee levers.. I also have a sixth floor pedal and cable and can make this a 6 pedal 4 knee lever steel guitar in 5 minutes if wanted.. The innovative knee lever system was added by a genius pedal steel guitar machinist ... It is non original, but can be removed in 5 minutes, and the guitar would be 100% original.. there are NO holes drilled in the body, and NO modifications..

Case is a wreck, but it will protect the steel ok...
I will accept partial trades of OLD tube amps or OLD guitars ONLY..
If you have always wanted a great pedal steel, and like vintage stuff, this might be for you..
I need at least $500 cash and whatever guitar/amp you may you have thats actually worth $500..
These do not come up for sale very often, and most are basket cases.. This one is in great shape, and has been set up by a steel guitar expert.. that would be me...lol..

Sold on CL in 24 hours.. For unknown reasons the SGF has become a very tough place to sell a steel guitar..

Bob, I would have bought this guitar in an instant had I been in the habit of looking at a craiglist board clear across the country from me.
Was that guitar ever listed on this forum?
I had the cash or a trade if you would be interested in a Lyle ripcopy of a gibson Hummingbird from 1957. They are bringing 450 to 490 bux on ebay. This one had been stored since 1958....case is like new.
If you get another good fender 10 please gve me a buzz on it
