I really liked this solo. Kinda more rock guitar like sound, but shows me where psg can even rock it out while maintaining its characteristic sound.

I have to agree with you Dan. I'm very new to pedal steel and Cowboys work with Jamey Johnson is what led me to it. Luckily I've been playing music for 20+ years, so at least I've got a leg up there. I bought the Toby Aderhold cd and its just a great cd from beginning to end. It's something about Cowboys tone and phrasing that is just unique to me, classic but also quite modern and unique. I can't wait to hear more in the future. |
