I know these aren't pedal cross shafts, they have the wrong number of holes.
I suspect the right angle bit is an LKR shaft.
I tried to call James, who made 'em, but he's not home, and I have some tinker time now.

Lane, one on right is a knee lever shaft and I think the others are reversing shafts for knee levers.

So the three are the ones that get the bellcranks, and the one on the right gets the lever?
That's convenient, since I'm gonna have three KRs, clustered LKRs and one RKR.
Just gotta figure out where they'll ride.

Lane,

Here are some pics I have of my reversing knee levers as installed by Sho-Bud. They do not bolt the linkage on, but use a rivet, but same idea. That may help sort it all out.

Doug

As you see, both use same principle, but one uses slightly longer levers. As long as the two levers or cranks that connect with the link are the same length, it should work. I am going to lose the lever stop shown in the first pic and go with the type in the second, that mounts on the step between the two shafts, vs. taking up valuable space on the deck behind the cross shaft.

I hope this helps.

Lane,
It appears to me that none actually receive the knee lever itself. Although I might be wrong because James appears to have altered the design. That would make all these shafts the ones that would receive the bell cranks. I say this because non of the linkage has the lever connecting bracket welded to it.-- Maybe the one on the right, with a long shaft that just kind of lies under your C6 neck.???
I suggest looking up old ShoBud guitars that have been for sale on the forum and looking at the under bellies. This, after putting in some time, will be all the info you'll need. I always ,kind of, thought old ShoBud linkage as Fred Flintstone technology. James has upgraded with better plating and the replaceable nylon bushing. Ron

Yes the one on the far right isn't going to do you any good; as that is the RKL extension crossbar that holds pullers for the bottom neck. See that little dowel tip; that would hook onto the linkage for the crossbar for the top neck side.
The other 3 are Crossbars; the linkage side goes towards the ledge where you link a knee lever to.
You will need to lay everything out Lane; for spacing and what goes to what..get it all laid out first before you mark your holes of course....but maybe you can lay everything out in pic; and we can tell you more what goes where and with what.??
The stuff James makes is much better quality made; that goes along with the original design somewhat...but certainly some better mounting ideas and fit and etc...

Right on Ricky. That's not my design. It's Coops--his earlier years.
