Hi All

I am planning to try out a True tone pick on my Carter SD10. It currently has a George L. Can anyone advise me how to install a pick up.

Thanks

Nick

1) Unsolder the wires from the jack while the guitar is in the case.
2) Loosen the strings, enough to slip a beer bottle under them.
3) Unscrew the pickup, lift it up and out.
4) Drop new pickup in, feeding the wires through the hole, screw it down
5) remove beer bottle, tighten strings.
6) retach (I think I made that up, but I like it) wires.
7) Enjoy.

Thanks for your advice Lane - I like the use of the beer bottle to keep the strings raised -
