To me it just looks like a BR-9 that was refinished. Can it be something special Gibson did as the seller claims?

But it's a special refinish. Wink It has a Seymour Duncan P90 pickup, and replaced tuners, too.

And somebody actually spent over $700.00 for the privilege of owning a "custom shop" BR-9! Ted McCarty must be rolling in his grave!

Does anyone recognize the fretboard? That may provide a clue as to what the original steel was.

Like nearly everything else about the guitar but the incredibly ugly paint job, it looks like original equipment for a BR-9.
