| I havn't seen anybody say they didn't like it or any of the others, I certainly do, and as Al similarly say's we need these kind of minds to keep it fun. Besides, this forum section can use such an occassional kickstart, it's starting to grow moss and 'shrooms again. |

There is a place in my heart for ingenuity. A fellow who does my carpentry work has half a thumb on his right hand so it's very difficult for him to hold a guitar pick.
I have been trying different picks, elastic band holders, etc., to help him play. I told him about cigar box guitars and asked if he wanted to try making one. I gave him an old Strat neck with bolts and plate, Tele plate with a pickup. A week later he asked me if I had a volume & tone and I found one on a Tele plate. He has it all together and it looks COOL. I'll post a pic soon.

There is some serious time invested in that one! That big brass cylinder looks like it might be part of a music box too. I've always been fascinated with Rube Goldberg contraptions.
