I've been offered this Regal guitar in a trade deal, and I really know nothing about it. Value? Tone? Playability? If I got it, I would probably play it with a soundhole pickup. Any help is much appreciated.

Value probably less than $200 USD in the condition shown. The beautiful wood pattern is painted on. They aren't loud, but they make up for it with a lack of tone.

Once you put a pick up in the sound hole, and run it through an amp or PA, you've got yourself a lap steel that feeds back real easily.

Never seen a square neck with a round sound hole.
