Does anybody have pictures of how you have padded your SKB case for a pedal steel ?
I`ve seen couple but I`d like to see as many as possible.....
Thanks!! _________________ Olli Haavisto

I did it! My MSA Legend U12 8 x 6 single neck now weights 48 lbs in case.
Airlines, here I come! _________________ Olli Haavisto

Ollie you can get it even lighter by using airline legs as well .... these are made of Ali rather than steel, chromed up to look identical! _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

Paddy, the MSA came with aluminum legs.
In the Red Dirt case it came in it weighted 60 lbs, BTW. _________________ Olli Haavisto

Excellent job Ollie -- now here's another tip for you with these cases....
Pop the polycarb axles out of the handles and replace them with a stainless steel bolt and nylock nut before the airline gorillas rip the handles off. It's probably the only weakness in these cases that I have found so far. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9
