Does anybody have pictures of how you have padded your SKB case for a pedal steel ?
I`ve seen couple but I`d like to see as many as possible.....

I did it! My MSA Legend U12 8 x 6 single neck now weights 48 lbs in case.
Airlines, here I come!

Ollie you can get it even lighter by using airline legs as well .... these are made of Ali rather than steel, chromed up to look identical!

Paddy, the MSA came with aluminum legs.
In the Red Dirt case it came in it weighted 60 lbs, BTW.

Excellent job Ollie -- now here's another tip for you with these cases....
Pop the polycarb axles out of the handles and replace them with a stainless steel bolt and nylock nut before the airline gorillas rip the handles off. It's probably the only weakness in these cases that I have found so far.
