I recently received an instrumental CD by SGF Member Clyde Mattocks....."Over My Shoulder" and it is truly sensational!
Smooth playing.....wonderful creative styling......
Great Sounds.....Fine technical playing. He's surely his own man.......
One that seemed to shine above the others was
"FLOSSING the OTTER". However there's not a single tune that doesn't rate high on the approval scale. I do believe most of you will enjoy this CD. It's GREAT! Give it a listen........... |

We are blessed to have a steel player of Clyde's caliber in eastern North Carolina. Steel is his primary instrument; however lead guitar, bass, and dare I say it, he is excellent on banjo. It would be hard to find a better gentleman. We play in an annual dinner theater and Clyde lets me play steel and he does the lead. Great guy! _________________ Past Secretary/President, MASGA

I would probably have never played my first note on steel, without him being there to build me the first I'd ever touched, a little blue Cherokee. Thanks again Clyde. |
