.....as part of Taste of St Louis festivities downtown

I think RR's road tech is member of The Forum.

If so, can you share details of RR's current rig?

Thanks -

Ron

I'm working the Taste of St. Louis main stage as house tech for all the bands this weekend. Can't wait to see the show tomorrow!

I saw him in Beaufort, NC several months ago. He is great - not my music - but he had the crowd in his hands for an hour and a half. The crowd was rocking, and yet not 1 in 10 knew what a steel guitar was called. Afterwards he went over to a small local club and sat in with the band!

Robert was great and though he had some pedal board issues, it didn't slow him down a bit. His tech Tim Miller was on hand and we both worked together through the day getting things ready for the band. When Robert did have an issue wih his pedal board, Tim handled it like a pro and Robert kept the show moving without a hitch.

Robert had two Mullen S-12 G2's and I believe they were tuned slightly different. He also had a prototype Jackson six string pedal steel that he plays standing up. The back line was rented so they didn't have their amps. I'll try to get some info on the pedal boards.
