Reviewing the many posts on split tunings, I note that the discussion is almost exclusively about split tunings on the E9th neck. Are any of you using split tunings on the C6th neck. For instance, a split tuner on strings 3 or 4 with the standard pedal 7 depressed? Do you split tune any other strings on C6th? |

I play with a high G, and there's a chord I can get with pedals 6 and 7 and a A to Ab knee lever that should make a Bb 6th chord open - Bb, D, E and G low to high. But, the Bb comes out about 20 cents high, so I bought a split kit to tune it. I just need to find the time to flip her over and work on her innards. I've never dealt with the work of the guitar yet, but it looks to be just another pull rod that goes from RKR to the A finger. In the meantime, I can sort of slant my way through. |

Yes Fred; I split the high C with the 7th pedal raise to D and knee lever that lowers that string a half tone...
I also do the same with the high A note...as I lower it a half tone also on a knee lever...
