Another great one, Ronnie. You know, I think what this needs is a second steel guitar. What you're playing is basically the vocal part. Imagine if someone were singing the song and you were backing him/her on steel. Well if you put that part in it would impart the sensation of a choir in the background.
Just an idea.

Man, are you on target! It is amazing how you seem to be reading my mind. Yes I`ve have been thinking along those lines. And yes my style is me playing the vocalization of most of the songs I play, and there have been times I have had the opportunity to play along with a second steel! It seems to work. Of course this was before everybody that I know got on board the Sacred Steel train, Now everybody is trying to be the next Robert Randolph! Ha-ha But seriously, there were times that I tried the second steel, and it worked well. I might try it again. And now I`m looking around for a vocalist, or an ensamble group, to work on some experimental demo`s to see where we can go with this. So again, you are on target with me. And certainly, I appreciate your insight, it helps a lot. and as always thanks my dear friend. BTW, I`ll be in touch through e-mail, I`ve been a little bit busy, but I have not forgotten my friend. With affection....

I really like the track for that too. After I listend to it
a few times, and the way you play it, I was thinking
that sure could be played as a beautiful country song.

My brother, and friend.
I`m am again glad to hear from you. And thank you for your encouragement. You know, as I think about it, a lot of my viewers, probably dont realize that I do most of my background tracks. Yes, that is me playing "all" of the instruments in the background. The drums,the bass,the rhythm guitar, the accent guitar, the tambourine, and last but not least the steel. And on a good day, I sweep out the joint!   My real problem though is balance on my volume on this particular presentation. But, I was working on that, during the recording process. I was having to use a different process than usual, but, I will get the hang of it shortly, and hopefully the quality will improve. At any rate, thanks for the comment on the backing track, it shows you`ve got good ears! As you said, it might be good for a country song backing technique. I`ll have to try that too! And yes, I do play from the heart. To me, it is where "all" of our sincerity flows from. Thanks my friend, for giving me the opportunity to express my joy in playing this music. Thanks for catching this one. Yes I guess there is a lot of emotion that goes into my playing , but you know, all of us as musicians play this way because it comes, (IMO) from the very depths of our soul. I think that if it did not come from there, I`m afraid there would be some pretty poor presentations coming forth for our listening pleasure.
