I just read the post a bout a and B pedal height adjustment when playing on hard wood versus carpet. My solution is using either large medicine bottle caps, are the things I think are called coasters. That keep from marking your table, when setting drinks on your finished tables. These work great when playing on carpet. It beats carrying around a big piece of plywood. Maybe this will help some of you.

To reduced confusion it would be much more effective if you would post your suggestion to the thread already going on this subject, Willie, rather than starting another parallel thread. Just a thought...

Thank you for your suggestion, I am new at this post and messages on the fourm' I just became a member of the forum a bout 3 months ago. And just turned 87 years old July 2 this year. I have trouble just figureing out how to turn the computer on, I need all the help I can get. But no kidding I do get a lot of enjoyment on the forum, it's true that you never get to old to learn. I've been trying to learn how to play the steel guitar far close to 75 years, and I still learned something new almost every time I sat down to my guitar. Many thanks to you.

I remember just a few short years ago joining here and the Telecaster forum. Took me a bit, too.
The coaster idea isn't a bad tip. I have a few of those old hard rubber ones leftover from my wife's grandparents furniture store. That would work really well.

You've got a few decades on me for sure, Willie, and if you keep picking that thing it'll never heal Cool
