My grandfather past away a few years ago and left his steel guitars to me. I wish I could learn to play them I just don't have the time or patience. I don't know much aside from what my grandpa told me about them. This is a JB Frypan with the C6 tuning. And that is all I know about it. I have taken pictures and will be more than happy to give you a more detailed look. I am asking $1000.

Josh, if you ship this one, be sure and put a larger box with peanuts/bubblewrap... the pickup is fragile. I had one shipped and it arrived with a broken pickup, it only had cardboard around the original case. The metal U-shaped pieces are screwed into a fragile plastic bobbin.

BTW, your price is entirely appropriate... this is as nice an example of this guitar as I've seen. Do you have a certificate with it? Is there anything in the case chamber below the neck? It would be nice to know the serial number stamped into the end of the neck.

More than likely I am going to be shipping it. I understand the importance of packing believe me. More the better. I also plan to have insurance on it. I looked in the chamber and the certificate was in there. Serial no B-079 Date 7-18-83. Hope that helps!

Very nice guitar & a fair price, good luck with the sale. I'm sure whoever buys it will be very happy.

I have number A-099
Anyone explain why the difference with the numbering system "A" to "B" please??? Thanks.
