1962 SUPRO 8-string Console with original Case and legs
Excellent working condition, very good cosmetic condition. Deco body, 3 legs, 23†scale length, built by Valco Co. for Supro, standard string-over pickup with 8 adjustable pole screws, Kluson tuners, all work fine. There are a few wear spots and dings on the body, but overall the guitar looks very good. The black plastic bridge cover has a 1†crack in it that has been repaired, glued, and is barely noticeable. The legs extend so you can play either standing or seated. Volume and tone controls work well. There is a switch between the volume and tone knobs that bypasses the tone control, and that switch works well. The Case is in good condition, solid, with a few scuffs, and the latches work fine.
The guitar sounds excellent. Very sweet highs and a nice growl on the low end. It’s got that vintage tone.
