At .30 seconds Gary holds a note and then lowers maybe 2 strings. Got any idea what he is doing. Maybe a 12 string guitar?
This is a great CD, talk about tone to the bone and great execution, this is the stuff that blows my skirt up. (Only on the weekends )

That does sound great...... here's what I get.
P3 engaged - strings 10 and 7 open - bar only string 5 @ 3rd fret.
Release P3
Add Franklin pedal and slide bar @ the 5th string up to 4th fret.
....Edited as above - tab would be better. _________________ Jerry Jones

Jerry, since you live in Nashville, go over to his house and get the secrete. I have a friend with the Franklin change I will have to see him and try it.

I'm resurrecting this old thread.
I'm about to tackle his version - exactly, if I can (minus the touch-and-tone, I hasten to add.
I do know Gary have a kl raising 4 and 6 a whole step. I've yet to determine if that's relevant to this piece.
He remains my favourite E9th player! _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!
