Well, music is a subjective thing. One person's holy grail is another's meh. My late mom loved broadway music and sang and played it all the time in my childhood. I don't listen to it now or ever play it but it holds a special place.
Plus, this is THE classic American mime come true. The plucky understudy goes on when the star has the flu and stops the show; the unknown person picked at random from the audience comes on stage and astounds everyone, etc, etc. Youtube has a closer version of the same event that's better than the wide shot. _________________ Steel Guitar Books! Not piling on, but Kristen's voice sounds shrill and juvenile to me. Just sayin'... |
