Used to live in Nashville. Got to play with Roy Acuff. Lived in VT for many years then moved here to Temecula Sept. 2012. Love it here. Playing in LA, Temecula, and the San Diego area. Several bands. Always looking for more work.

Audio clip of Crazy Arms.

Always looking to meet as many musicians, especially steel players, as possible.

Thanks to all.

I'm in Marina del Rey. If any one needs their guitar tweaking or setting up Abe Levy did a fantastic job on my Promat P/P! Hit him up, you won't be sorry!

Hi Jim, in the picture, isn't that Jay Dee on the far left? It's a little hard for me to make it out but it looks like my old friend. Thanks in advance.

My very first gig on steel guitar was at the Raven and the Rose in Sierra Madre Ca,. That was a long long time ago.
I remember both Steve Finley, and Dean Rimmer playin' there.

John McClung just organized and had the Man of Steel show in San Padro and he was one of 9 steel players on that show all from around Southern California

Lots and lots to say the least

Plus Steel Guitars of North County in Oceanside (Jim Palenscar)Rick Schmidt and I bet those 3 along with Mike Maddux could get you a long list.

Achtung Deadheads!
..departing soon to play the early 7:30 show with Jason Sinay at the Mint on Pico Blvd .
..opening for Cubensis (i.e. don't breathe the air if you have to pass a blood test this week)
..a refreshing alternative to the old "300 chords for 3 people" at Oyster House.

Hey, Chris L. -- I just saw this: I actually played with Jimmie Intveld this past Saturday at Joe's in Burbank, but I won't be at Biggs. Sorry I'll miss you!

Max Bernstein -- That's the name of my son and was the name of my Grandfather. Great name! Smile
