I don`t agree with anyone here and you`re all wrong cos` I know everything about it...or maybe...well...whatever...but we need to argue so therefore...I`m right and you`re not...
and btw...
pink guitars sound better than black
Zum is better than an Emmons
you should always tune 440
and "THAT" sound is there except if it`s not
...hmm...whatever...I`m going to bed...

Give us a couple of months, we always come back. This topic will never go away, it's like a mother-in-law, a cat, taxes, lawyers, weight gain, George Jones, Porter Waggoner, worry, wives shopping, repair bills, car washes, and the beat goes on, and on, and on,----------> |

Jeff, funny you should mention this,
As a matter of fact, it does sound great, It is a six cyl. 165 horse power Franklin. Some have joked that it's the best sounding Franklin in Nashville! (this is all in humor Paul).
The other aircraft in my hanger is a Lycoming powered Piper, with the tail wheel back where it should be! Good tone but not like a Sho-Bud Pro III.
Actually, I like open pipe Harley- Davidsons real well when it comes to big full rich tone and volume, how about it Eric West?[This message was edited by BobbeSeymour on 23 June 2003 at 05:13 PM.] |

Hey Bobbie, what happened to the V-tail? Sounds like you've got into the taildraggers. My most enjoyable flying has been in taildraggers. The most recent one being a Cessna 180. When my wife got her Private several years ago I decided to sell the C-180 and get something a little tammer for her to fly. We currently have a 69 Skylane parked in our hanger.
The latter part of October there is an excellent flyin/campout over in East Texas at a private strip in Reklaw. I enjoy it just has much as I have enjoyed Oshkosh. Like to see you try to make over this way. |

Joe, you'd better explain what you meant when you said your wife "got her private". Some of these guys won't know just what this means!
Yes, my aircraft collection is growing, I'll e-mail you, don't want to use up to much of bOb's hard drive, (that sounds funny too!)
182s are wonderful machines! |

Some people like the old "hemi head" pan/shovel tone. Others swear by the "bathtub chamber" of the Evos. The sound kind of Tinny to me.
I have two ratty Gold Wings on my "ranch". I make sure that I don't park them too close to my Pan at night.
I don't want to come out some morning and find a Buell...
BBBWWWWAahahahaa!!!!
I just visited your website, and saw a picture of Brandy.
Don't get me wrong, Bobbe. I "respected" you before.
Now it's real.
