Heart of Texas Records is proud to announce Johnny Bush's latest release, "Reflections."
This new fourteen song cd contains a duet with Texas Country Music entertainer Randy Rogers on the near autobiographical "All The Rage In Paris." Rogers also contributes harmony work on "The Troubadour."
"When Mr. Bush asked me to join him on a couple of tracks for this record, I was floored," Rogers said. "His voice is one of the all time greats of Country Music and singing with him made me feel like I was a part of something much bigger than just this record."
The project contains a few Bush "reflection" standards including "A Moment Isn't Very Long" "Jealously Insane" "Man With No Soul At All" and "I Can Feel You In His Arms" and "Statue of A Fool." He also covers some other standards in "Statue of A Fool" and "She Thinks I Still Care." Bush rounds out the project with "The Door" "She's The Trip That I've Been On" "Ease Me To The Ground" "Where Were You?" "Deja Vu" and the Justin Trevino composed "Neon Nightmare."
"This album in a great reflection on my career," Bush said from his San Antonio home. "There are several personal favorites on this project. The musicians did an outstanding job on creating the sound that I wanted on this project. I am also certainly happy that my new best friend Randy Rogers contributed some great vocals to the project."
The musicians include Jake Hooker, Jim Kalson and Alan Chapman on bass, Jim Loessberg, Bobby Jarzombek and Phil Fisher on drums, T.Jarod Bonta, Randy Reinhard and Anthony Bazzani on piano, Charlie Walton, Alan Kolby, Bill Littleton and Bobby Flores on guitar, Reggie Rueffer, Bobby Flores, John Shcattenberg, Ron Knuth and Bill Green on fiddle, Jim Loessberg on steel guitar, Gerald Schoelzel on viola, John Stewart on Cello and Justin Trevino, Bobby Flores and Randy Rogers on harmony vocals.
