My band, Honeyfingers has been collaborating with Jim Campilongo on some of his material and we played our first gig at Barbes this past weekend. Someone video taped the whole thing and posted it, (hopefully he will post the other 2 sets as well). I am playing an S10 clinesmith through my Milkman 20w, no volume pedal....

9:46 Jim's Guitar Boogie - Campilongo

Great stuff, Jonathan, congratulations.
You guys put a lot of work into learning his tunes. I tried to get something going with Jim a few years ago, but it never happened. I still have all his charts somewhere! _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

This is great example of how and why electric guitar does not have to blow you outa the door. _________________ Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother. |

Sounds great! Makes me sorry I didn't go.
I was on the fence, but Breaking Bad won out. The price we pay for momentary cultural relevance....
Next time (at Barbes)for sure. |
