Nice stuff, Joe. I see a couple of familiar names in the credits -- Ken Nelson and Tommy Collins. Those boys also played a big part in Merle's success, as did Moon. _________________ HagFan

I would buy it. I like Buck and Merle a lot but I think it would be awesome if they did some Wynn Stewart songs or any of the great Bakersfield artist songs. |

Right you are, Ron. Ken Nelson was the A&R man for Capitol Records country music division. He pretty much orchestrated the development of what became the "Bakersfield Sound". Speaking of west coast country here are some more choices to cover on a hypothetical "Bakersfield II" album.
