Serial no. on back of chassis is A35299, and looks to be all original. I dont know much about the amp, but for its age, it looks well and sounds great. Reverb works as well.Been in the closet for years, i do know that.$725 obo jeff 573-683-0844

Jeff, a couple of questions. The PR looks to be missing the trim washer under the pilot lamp and as a result it looks like the face plate has been bent. It's hard to tell for sure in the photos. Is this the case?

What speaker is in the amp and is it original?

Many thanks!

The washer on the pilot light is missing, and they are impossible to find. Also, the panels on the back, need to be swapped. Put the top one on the bottom, and the bottom one on the top.

Not sure if that is the same one. If not there's a pilot light washer thief roaming around! I've read that the pilot light washer is made of unobtainium. If Fender had them made I find it hard to believe that a machine shop would have a hard time making one up although I realize they are not readily for sale.

I see several auctions on eBay for that same part starting at $2.99 USD.

I think Greg was referring to the washer, not which model of Fender amp. There are a gazillion Fender red jewel lights on the earth Smile

I wouldn't be surprised if the washer is stuck under the faceplate - then again, not much surprises me Whoa!

I see the jewel light and the collar on ebay but not the specific washer mentioned above.

I spent a lot of time on that washer issue. Measured the inside diameter with calipers and went on the hunt! Never found a match. Ended up with some stainless steel washers with slightly smaller I.D. With a little work I was able to get the I.D. corrected and had a Fit. Not a fun job but it came out great. Someone could do well to reproduce these, as there is a great need for them.

Those washers, of which I have one(on my Twin), look to be pressed to a very slight crown in the center. It doesn't look machined at all, looks stamped to me. Mine is shiny, but not chrome, maybe polished stainless. I look for'em at every Dallas Guitar Show, and they are impossible to find. Same thing with old '50's Gretsch clear plastic vol. and tone knobs.

I had a fender amp repaired an didn't realize until I got home the washer was missing. I think they might command a good price for collectors their fore they conveniently forget to replace them and then say I don't remember it. My advice is take it off before it is sent for repair.
