I just acquired an early black-finished one with the star logo, and I'm trying to narrow down the age. Does anyone know when Vega changed the Triumphal from a black body to natural maple? Or when they changed from the star to the script logo? I believe both changed occurred sometime around WWII, but there's scant information out there.
