The Johnny Cash Music Festival will be held at the ASU Convocation Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas this Saturday night with Jimmy Fortune, Vince Gill, Larry Gatlin, Joanne Cash Yates and hosted by Tommy Cash.
I will be backing Statler Brother Jimmy Fortune playing pedal steel, lead gtr, acoustic gtr, mandolin and singing BG vocals.
If you are in the area, don't miss this show.
Show time is 7 p.m.
On Sunday, August 18th, I will be with Jimmy Fortune at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville along with the mighty Oak Ridge Boys. Show time is 8 p.m. |

Ricky I attended the concert in Jonesboro Sat nite, great job on both Guitar and Steel,
Alot of high notes hit perfectly by Jimmy also.
Would love to know what effects you were using on your Tele. |

Hey Steve Leonard...I am having a blast out with Jimmy Fortune. Been playing shows with him for over 2 years now.

Roger, I use a Keeley compressor, boss blues driver for any overdrive, into a line6 m9 for delays and reverb. Check out the m9...very versatile for guitar with many onboard effects to choose from.
Great for the tele !
Paul Franklin was using the new benado effects unit on his pedal steel into a little walters amp.
Vince Gill had numerious pedals ranging from boss to wampler on his board. Got pictures of their gear. I was able to check out each musicians setup. So cool being a part of this show.......blessed is the word.
