Hi, I am going to regret this one, I know, and if the Z-Verb I have listed sells first, then this one is off the market and I will be keeping it, but I am selling my Ken Fox Vintage tube Reverb Unit (complete with paperwork, footswitch and original power cable). This unit is in perfect physical and functional condition, and you won't find a better "used" one. Great sounding tube reverb unit, but if you are looking at it, then you already know!

Asking 450.00 plus shipping. Paypal okay if you add the 3%.

I think he is not certain he will sell it, last time we emailed each. I know he was on the road, so maybe he will respond soon and let us all know.

Steve, I may actually come partially out of retirement and build a run of 20 of these again. If so the cabs will be made locally and I will be doing Tolex and tweed work in my shop (instead of Mojotone). The cabinet cost and parts now cost more than he is selling this unit for. The other option is Rick Johnson, his work is awesome!! Rick did my blond cab and it just came out perfect.

With Social Security I can still do a do a little shop work. I have ceased all repair work, except on the amps that I built.

I built a blond version of this for myself recently (the Rick Johnson cab). I was so inspired by it (after hearing 2 vintage Fender units in my shop in the last year) that I may just make a few more. I was contacted last year by Tonequest Magazine to do an interview and product review on the reverb unit and the 5D6B amp. I never responded, due to the upcomign retiement plans. I might even get in touch to see if they are still interested in just the reverb unit for a review. I do not ever plan to build amps again at this point.

Right now I am toying with the idea of doing the reverb units again. I hope to keep the cost in line where we can offer these at an attractive price!

That is exciting news Ken! I love my Fox Reverb unit and use it with all my amps, guitar and steel. It sounds especially awesome with the Webb 614 when used in lieu of the factory reverb. Makes any great sounding amp sound even better! It would be fabulous if these were made available again.

Best
Andy

I found out how much it warmed up my 1960 Twin and my 1964 Showman. Without the unit the amps are always bait edgy to me. Both are 4 X6L6gc power tube amps. It gives those amps the warmth of a Deluxe Reverb, to my ear.

Thanks for the encouragement on that.
