What is a common tuning and copedent for the c6 Neck?
I have never messed with C6 only E9. Thanks..Ken

If you're starting from scratch, I'd suggest one change to the basic C6 copedent: put P5 or P7 on a knee, since the two often get used together. I have P5 on LKR. Are you coming to Riverside Saturday?

There's a few variations, but the main question will be D or G on the 1st string. Lots of opinions among the brothers and sisters.
E9 and C6 are closer than you might imagine, pulls aside. What helped my understanding when adding the second neck was to read some of the Universal training material; usually there's a discussion of how those two tunings can be combined. A few lightbulbs may light up. |

| A bit off topic but to add to Bobby Snell's post above, when the E strings (4 and 8) are lowered to D# on the E9 neck, the tuning on strings 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 at fret 1 is the same as open strings 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 on the C6 neck. (C E G A C E) The 9th string is not present in the Universal 12 string E9/B6 tuning, so that the B6 tuning is on adjacent open strings. |
