I got to visit with him a little back in 2002 or so when he was in his hometown of Oak Grove, La for a homecoming they were having. He is a really down to earth guy....really cool & slooowww talking!

He did about an hour set with just him on guitar and he got one of his cousins to borrow a set of car keys and he played rhythm into a microphone.....they had one heck of a groove goin' on.....I never seen anything like it before or since!
